Our study aimed to assess the antimicrobial activity shown by olive oil extracts against infections that cause dermatitis, olive oil extracts from ten types of olive oil in the Baghdad market. The study assessed the inhibitory effect of extracts against certain gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus), two generously positive isolates, and two generously negative isolates (Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa). Statistical analysis showed that most olive oil extracts have inhibition efficacy against bacteria that cause dermatitis, used to link antimicrobial activity values to total polyphenols, different behavior among olive oil extracts.
