Assistant Professor Rafat Ahmed Abu Al-Maali Teaching Center at Market Research and Consumer Protection Department of Commodity Evaluation and Service Performance, member of the Technical Committee for Dry Food and Food Additives (L. P. 10) of the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control attends the Committee’s periodic meeting on Tuesday, the 23rd of April 2024 year.
To discuss updating the standard (raw sugar) to conform to modern international standards, being one of the vocabulary of the food basket provided by the Ministry of Commerce to citizens and the most important food products traded in the markets.
The Committee discussed all the requirements and conditions to be determined by the standard, so that the product would meet the required quality standards and meet the health requirements that would ensure consumer safety.
