1- Vision:

           To be one of the best research institutions, characterized with quality according to international standards in the fields of scientific research and conducting different studies at the regional level.

2- Mission:

The center performs an awareness and guidance message aimed to securing communication between the university and the community to achieve the university’s aim of serving the community by conducting research and theoretical and applied studies related to the economy, health and safety of the citizen, as well as developing cultural and environmental awareness to raise the level of consumer and consumer culture in Iraq to reach to the total quality in this field.

3- Aims:

  1. Encouraging researchers at the center to carry out scientific and applied research and studies to find a solution to the problems suffered by the market and the consumer through annual research programs and plans.

  2. Conducting surveys and opinion polls on issues related to the market and consumer, and analyzing their results to diagnose problems and provide solutions to decision-makers to solve those problems and enhance strengths.

  3. Issuing periodicals and posters to spread the center’s awareness message to various segments of society, with the aim of enhancing consumers’ awareness of their rights and developing a safe consumer culture, as well as stimulating the sectors of the national economy and achieving sustainable development.

  4. Communication between the university and the community through the participation of the center’s researchers in government committees with state institutions, and providing consultations that requested from the center in all fields related to the market and the consumer.

  5. Holding conferences, seminars, workshops, and awareness programs to spread and promote the center’s message.

  6. Organizing training programs for employees in all governmental and private institutions, including university formations, to provide them with skills and knowledge, in addition to benefiting from the experiences of the center’s employees, including researchers, technicians and administrators in this field.
