Postgraduate students (Ph.D. and Master) in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine visited the Veterinary Public Health Branch accompanied by (Associate Professor Dr. Shahrzad Mohammed Al-Shadidi) the Center for Market Research and Consumer Protection on Thursday, the 22nd of February 2024.
They were received (Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdullah Jassem) by the Director of the Center and were escorted on a tour to the Center’s laboratories by the Head of the Department of Commodity Calendar and Service Performance (Assistant Professor Nebras Mohamed Abdul Rasoul) with the presence of professors and technicians working in the laboratories who were interested to explain and explain the nature of the work in each laboratory.
This visit is one of many field visits received by the Centre from the University’s various colleges.
Iraqi Ministry of Commerce at the Center for Market Research and Consumer Protection
Within the mechanism of our Centre for Cooperation and Strengthening Working Ties with State Ministries and Institutions, a delegation from Iraq’s Ministry of Commerce visited (Dr. Ban Faisal al-Jabouri) and was received by (Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdullah Jassim) Director of the Center for Market Research and Consumer Protection (Assistant Professor Dr. Wassal Abdullah) Officer of the Scientific Division of the Centre on Tuesday, 20 January 2024, in the Centre’s building.
The aim of the meeting was to cooperate between our Centre and the Iraqi Ministry of Commerce/Department of Private Sector Development and the Department of Studies and Publishing by conducting studies and research on various aspects, including digital economic aspects that contribute to the construction of companies by identifying and addressing kinks. Both sides agreed to form a research team to prepare studies on the subject.
The Director of the Centre fully welcomed the cooperation between the two sides within the Centre’s community service mechanisms and objectives as a research centre comprising a number of researchers with different competencies and high research potential, which could be used to develop the work of the relevant ministries and institutions.
