A group of teachers and preliminary students from the Department of Soil and Water Resources of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering Sciences visited Baghdad University to the Center for Market Research and Consumer Protection and were received by Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdullah Jassim, Director of the Center on Sunday, May 7.

Introduction to the Market Research and Consumer Protection Centre in the Department of Research and Studies and the Department of Commodity Evaluation and Service Performance. The visit involves taking them on a tour to the Centre’s laboratories:

  • Chemical Analysis Laboratory.

  • Atomic absorption laboratory.

  • Laboratory of Microbiology.

  • Advanced Automated Analysis Laboratory.

The heads of departments were identified by Associate Professor Alia Saadoun Abdul Razak and Professor Teacher Nebras Mohamed Abdul Rasoul. Dr. Ebtisam Farid Ali, Engineer Mostafa Sadi Shakir and Senior Chemist Rasha Samari Attiya. Information was exchanged and explained on how to work in laboratories and the possibilities available to conduct analysis and research and the center’s willingness to provide assistance and conduct analysis in laboratories for researchers and college.

This visit is part of the scientific activities and cooperation carried out by the Centre in cooperation with the university’s formations and various State institutions.
